Mohamed Salah Issues Statement to Teammates, Discloses Curtis Jones
Curtis Jones has disclosed that Salah said sorry to the entire Liverpool squad following the uproar from his recent interview.

Salah was left out from a key Champions League match after voicing frustrations and claiming his rapport with Arne Slot had broken down.
“Salah is an individual and he can say his own stuff,” Jones revealed. “He apologised to us and was like: ‘If my words hurt anyone, I apologise.’”
Arne Slot has chosen not to reveal on whether he was apologised to from the veteran striker.
Moving Forward
He emphasized that the squad's reaction was unchanged. “He was his usual self, he was smiling and it was business as usual,” he continued.
He also implied that a teammate fighting for a place is less of an issue. “It's clear there are different methods you can go about things,” he said. “Yet, should someone be happy to just be on the bench, then I think that’s concerning.”
Positive Results
The team's performance have remained strong in the games following the initial controversy. Jones believes the forward's comments were never meant to destabilise the squad.
“If passion has boiled over, it’s always been from a desire to win,” Jones concluded. “That chapter is closed and we’re uniting strongly, performing and starting to win games.”
