Trump's Family Member Seeks Expert Guidance from Tiger Woods Ahead of LPGA Debut

Young golfer preparing for significant tournament

This young athlete maintains substantial social media audience

Kai Trump can count on multiple high-profile supporters when she makes her first LPGA appearance this Thursday.

This teenage golfer, who happens to be the granddaughter of a former US president, received a special exemption to participate at Florida's Annika event in the Sunshine State.

Her grandfather, someone who loves golf, owns multiple golf courses and often competes against Kai.

"He's quite skilled. I can't say much but we have tight competitions," she stated.

The golfer shared that Trump, unable to come, counseled her: "Simply avoid anxiety."

"He practically suggested to compete and have fun," she continued.

"To me, he's just a regular grandfather. He won't be there this weekend. He's busy with presidential duties, so he's quite busy."

While still amateur, the golfer has competed in just three tournaments in 2024 and holds position 461 in the American Junior Golf Association standings.

But she can get advice from 15-time major champion, in a relationship with her mother.

"He stands as the greatest golfer in the world," the young golfer said.

"Additionally, he's a more impressive human being. He advised me to go out there, have fun, adapting to the flow."

She'll challenge multiple top competitors in women's golf at this tournament, featuring world number two Nelly Korda, England's golfer Hull, Lexi Thompson and 2023 champion Lilia Vu.

Officials stated that Kai's presence exposes golf to new audiences, especially reaching younger fans.

The young star has a massive following and just introduced an exclusive apparel and wellness label.

She begins at late afternoon GMT.
